| #2500 | fixed | Virtual machine hangs when VT-x is enabled | ||
| Description |
Host operating system is 64-bit Mandriva 2009.0 or 2008.1 Guest opeating system is Windows XP. Virtual box version is 2.0.4 (with updated guest additions). When I start the virtual machine with the VT-x enabled, the machine starts to boot normally. When Windows is just about to show the user desktop (after it resizes the window to match the saved resolution), the virtual box window becomes black. It doesn't react to any commands and it is not possible event to send shutdown signal - I have to power off the machine. When VT-x is turned off, everything works normally (but I cannot run Kaspersky 2009, there is another ticket which says that Kaspersky can be run only if VT-x is enabled). |
