| #8137 | obsolete | Ubuntu VM then Admin Console greyscreens virtualbox-ose 3.2.8 through 4.0.2 | ||
| Description |
Downstream bug may be found at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virtualbox-ose/+bug/660281 Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose 1) lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.10 Release: 10.10 2) apt-cache policy virtualbox-ose virtualbox-ose:
3) Thank you for reading this. What is expected to happen is when one launches VirtualBox-OSE via Applications -> Accessories -> VirtualBox OSE, it does so without greyscreening. 4) What happens instead is immediately after launching, it greyscreens. This started to consistently occur after attempting to close a Lucid VM, right before the GUI popup giving the opportunity to close, shutdown, or send shutdown signal showed, the VM greyscreened. Then I clicked the X on the top left and Force Quit the VM. Then the VirtualBox main window greyscreened. Then I clicked it's X on the top left, then Force Quit it. Now every time afterwards VirtualBox-OSE greyscreens upon launch. If questions exist, please ask. | #8139 | obsolete | Sever perfomance problems when using v4 guest additions on xp host under linux | ||
| Description |
Having tried both 4.0.0 and 4.0.2 on my Mandriva 2010.2 host my XP guests have severe performance degradation after upgrading to V4 guest additions from V3.2.12. If I leave them running the V3 guest additions they remain usable. I have a log file if needed (and I can find how to attach it). |

| #8142 | obsolete | Scrolling area in VB Manager window larger than its contents | ||
| Description |
Host: Windows XP x64 SP2 When the main window of VirtualBox Manager is not high enough, it contains the vertical scrollbar. The problem is that the scrolling height is signifucantly larger than the height of the real scrolling contents. Attached is the screenshot that indicates the excessive area size. |
