| #7989 | obsolete | Copy/paste virtual machine info broken | ||
| Description |
In VirtualBox GUI click on virtual machine from left panel. In right panel there are info displayed about virtual machine settings. In VBox v3.2.12 and previous I could use <CTRL>+A and <CTRL>+C and copy settings info to some text file. In VBox v4.0.0 <CTRL>+A opens up "Select a virtual machine file" open window. According to Machine | Add there is a shortcut <CTRL>+A for adding machine file. But it looks like two options use the same shortcuts and so one is not working. Also pressing <CTRL>+C to copy text from right settings panel is broken. If righ clicking on machine and select options from there (copy / select all) it works fine. But this selecting/copying works only for single window. |

| #7996 | obsolete | vbox 3.2.12 causes kernel panic on Hardened Gentoo host | ||
| Description |
Using the latest stable hardened kernel from Gentoo (hardened-sources-2.6.36-r6) starting a virtual machine causes a kernel panic on amd64. The kernel is configured with UDEREF off (as discussed in Ticket #2652), but with KERNEX on. The problem occurs because the vbox code tries to modify read-only kernel pages which it should not do. For the panic, see: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350503 |
