| #17826 | invalid | Middle of screen not updating correctly in 4K. Guest - MacOS High Sierra 10.13.5 | ||
| Description |
The screen does not update correctly once the full screen resolution is set beyond 2560x1440(x32). Resolution set using: <ExtraDataItem name="VBoxInternal2/EfiGraphicsResolution" value="3840x2160"/> Once the mouse moves beyond about X1100 only every 8th pixel updates. Then after about X1800 it works again. So the mouse seems to disappear in this vertical band. Refreshing the screen by toggling out of full screen and then back updates everything correctly. In my mind that points to the guest screen buffer being filled correctly. However, it seems the buffer isn't always copied to KDE. Guest: MacOS High Sierra Version 10.13.5. 256MB VRAM, 8GB RAM Host: F27, KDE 5.12.5, Frameworks 5.46.0, Qt 5.9.4, Kernel 4.16.13-200.fc27.x86-64 8 x Intel Xeon CPU E3-1245 v5 @3.5GHz, 32GB Ram, NVidia GForce GTX1060 6GB, Driver 390.59 Windows10 guest @ 4K runs fine.
