| #8563 | obsolete | Crash when disconnecting displayport monitor while guest is in fullscreen mode | ||
| Description |
Host: Win7 Video card: Radeon 6850 with catalyst drivers 11.2 Guest: Ubuntu 10.10 with guest additions installed Setup details: Monitor connected with a displayport cable to the video card. Steps to reproduce: 1) Start the Ubuntu VM in fullscreen mode 2) Disconnect/Power off the monitor 3) Wait for the displayport device disconnect in win7 to register (Ubuntu host is still running fine at this point based on audio still playing correctly) 4) Plugin the displayport monitor back in / power it on 5) Virtualbox crashes I am able to reproduce this problem every time. Connecting the screen using DVI/VGA doesn't cause this issue, because the monitor doesn't disconnect as with displayport. |
