| #21159 | duplicate | Win10 and Win11 Guests crashes and status aborted => duplicate of #21161 | ||
| Description |
Hello, I am running a fresh installation of oracle virtual box on my Windows 10 based notebook. Just installed a Win10 and Win11 guest, both are just crashing (running window of my machine disappears) and virtual box sets the status of the vm to aborted. The machines are just fresh installed, of course with guest additions. I don't know what to do, please help me. |

| #21156 | fixed | Log Viewer cannot save VBox.log file (regression) | ||
| Description |
In VirtualBox 7.0.0 on Windows hosts, the Log Viewer in the VirtualBox Manager shows the VM name to the left of the usual (up to) 5 tabs. This apparently leads to an off-by-one error: Clicking the Save button to save the contents of the current tab actually saves the contents of the tab to the right of the current tab. In consequence, it's impossible to save the VBox.log file. Users who try to provide a VBox.log file in the forums or the Bugtracker erroneously provide the VBoxHardening.log file instead. |
