#8561 obsolete Bad display with compiz Ubuntu 10.10 guest with 3D acceleration and 2 monitors agroyer
Description

When I try to start compiz in Ubuntu 10.10 guest with Windows XP host with 3D acceleration and 2 monitors, nothing appears on the screen. With only one monitor, everyting works fine. With 2 monitors and without 3D acceleration, it works fine except I cannot launch compiz because it requires hardware 3D acceleration.

If I play with Ctrl-Alt-F1 Ctrl-Alt-F7, sometimes the virtual machine hangs. I need to kill VirtualBox in the Process List.

#21043 invalid Bad encryption performance on AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor oracle-bug
Description

I rent a dedicated server with AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor + 32G memory and I installed Ubuntu 22.04, VirtualBox and VMWare workstation on the server.

Then I created a Windows 8.1 virtual machine with 8C/16G configuration, installed passmark on the VM and started performance test.

I started the VirtualBox, completes the test and shut it down. And do the same for VMWare Workstation.

The performance looks similar except that VirtualBox is slow on the "Encryption" test, I'm wondering why is that? Is there any way to improve the performance?

#9134 fixed Bad focus Mac OS X native Open dialog in some cases ferben
Description

Steps to reproduce:
Evoke any Mac OS X native Open dialog - for example press Cmd+I (Import appliance) and click to Select button. Then click to Finder and back to Virtualbox open dialog. See screenshot before switch and after switch.

Current state:
Mac OS X naticve open dialog disappear and any other, but inactive dialog appear. In this open dialog you can't do anything.

Expected state:
Show Mac OS X native open dialog - Into Mac OS X native open dialog you can Drag&Drop file/folder from Finder, you don't have to browse inside dialog too long.

Workaround:
You have to press Esc (I don't know other way), evoke Open dialog again and you must avoid switching between apps when Open dialog is shown.
