#7385 obsolete NAT PXE TFTP download fails when using external tftp server -> fixed in svn Luiz Angelo Daros de Luca
Description

Hello,

I defined a external tftp server in my configuration

VBoxManage modifyvm "Diskless NAT" --nattftpfile1 /pxelinux.0

VBoxManage modifyvm "Diskless NAT" --nattftpserver1 10.9.1.31

When it boot using PXE, it fails to ack after the seconds tftp package is received. I tested with "3.2.6 OSE", compiled from source, and it passed this step.

With "3.2.6 OSE", I have another bug that pxelinux is unable to download its configuration and/or detect that a file is missing. Maybe, it also cannot receive packets but in a latter step.

I'll attach the wireshark traffic for the first case.

#7391 obsolete Shared folders with Mac host do not work from volumes other than boot drive ebonweaver
Description

Two problems. First, when you browse for a shared folder, it fails if there is a space in the name of any directory in the path. You can manually enter the path using \ to escape the space unix style and it will allow you to make the entry. However, it will not work in the Windows guest. Further more, shared folders on volumes other than the boot volume will not work either. In both cases Windows can not find the share once you mount it. You can browse to it, to create a place or shortcut, but you can not open it, Windows says it can't be found.

#7394 obsolete Host only network crashes after suspend. Requires restart of vboxdrv Willie
Description

Host: Ubuntu 10.04 (Desktop)
Guest: Ubuntu 10.04 (Server)
Vritualbox: 3.2.8 r64453 (Oracle version)

Scenario:

  1. Boot guest or guests. Each guest has 2 virtual ethernet cards. Card 1: Bridged, Card 2: Host only.
  2. Use VM for a while. Both host only and bridged network work perfectly.
  3. Put laptop into suspend.
  4. Wake up laptop.
  5. Immediately after waking up, host only network still works.
  6. Some time after wake (haven't timed exactly, but may be 10 - 30 minutes), host only network will lose its IP address. Cannot get an IP in any way on the guest (i.e restart networking or new dhcp request doesn't work). Appears to be no response from vbox dhcp server.
  7. Shut down *all* guest(s).
  8. Boot guest again. Host only network works.

Do you need any further information to help you diagnose? If so, please specify what logs/info you need and I'll upload the files.
