| #11409 | fixed | Virtual machine pauses while showing snapshot dialog window. | ||
| Description |
I understand that a VM must pause or freeze while a snapshot is taken. However, there might be no reason that the VM pauses already while only showing the snapshot dialog to specify the snapshot name, and continues to be paused when pressing the Cancel button. Steps to reproduce:
When the dialog window opens to name the snapshot, the VM is paused. The VM even remains paused after pressing the Cancel button. |

| #11429 | fixed | Corrupt VM settings window requries force quit of VirtualBox. | ||
| Description |
VirtualBox 4.2.6, Mac Pro 4.1, 10.6.8, 24 GB RAM. It has happened to me several times that the settings window of a virtual machine is blank or corrupted, e.g. showing only the toolbar, and requires to force quite the VirtualBox application. The problem apparently occurs regardless what virtual machine is selected or the machine state. I have not been able to find out the cause or usage pattern that triggers the issue. Restarting the system does not help. Unfortunately nothing is being recorded in the log file of the VirtualBox application or VM at the time the issue occurs. I also noticed that opening the virtual machine settings window takes 7 seconds to open since VB 4.2.4. To reproduce the problem:

| #11473 | obsolete | Auto Capture Notice Dialog | ||
| Description |
Hello, I noticed that the GUI/SuppressMessages application preferences are written to the ~/Library/VirtualBox/VirtualBox.xml file. To be technically correct with Apple standards, user application preferences should be written to ~/Library/Preferences/org.virtualbox.app.VirtualBox.plist. The preferences file should be automatically created after removing, thereby removing all custom settings. I also think there should be a setting in the application preferences to disable or enable the suppressing of the keyboard capture notice. For instance: Virtualbox:Preferences:Input [ ] Auto Capture Keyboard [ ] Display Auto Capture Notice Kind regards. |
