| #4706 | fixed | BSOD 1E and 3B when trying to load guest OS of any kind | ||
| Description |
Link to post: http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=20762 My hardware is: Intel Core i7 920 with VT/HT/NX On 12 gb ram (PC3 8500) (2)1 tb hd (Raid 1) Intel GB ethernet Have Readyboost enabled All the latest patches Vista x-64 Ultimate SP2 (Technet Plus) When trying to load guest OS of any kind, BSOD occurs. When trying to get dmp file, it is not found from which i suspect the Intel raid driver is unloaded. With drive caching turned on 1E error occurs, with off 3B error occurs. As well, if Virtual disk is on other drive other than system, 1E error occurs, on system drive, 3b occurs. I make it alot further along the guest install process if i turn off USB controller, turn off caching, leave the virtual disk on the system drive. |

| #5883 | fixed | BSOD KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED - Windows 2000 guest on Virtualbox 3.1.x (PC & Mac hosts) | ||
| Description |
Windows 2000 guest fails to boot within VirtualBox 3.1.0 and 3.1.2 on both PC and Mac platforms. This VM does boot and works correctly with VirtualBox 3.0.x - uninstalling 3.1.x and re-installing 3.0.x confirms this VM is still working correctly. The same error occurs on both Windows (XP & 7) and Mac OS X (10.5.8). The VM has the latest 3.0.x tools installed within the guest OS. Other Guest OS VMs are confirmed working on the same machines. Only Windows 2000 looks to be affected. BSOD Error details:
