#1889 fixed Option to create a shortcut to a VM from within the VirtualBox GUI by dragging icon to Desktop / File System -> Fixed in SVN Joris Snellenburg
Description

It would be great it it was possible to easily create a shortcut to a (frequently used) VM, simply by dragging the VM icon from the VirtualBox GUI to the Desktop or any other location, that way one would not have to start the VirtualBox GUI first every time one would want to start a VM. I'd really prefer a Desktop Shortcut that would by default "Start" the machine (i.e. Resume from last state / Boot fresh).

As of the moment this is not possible with VirtualBox 1.6.2 running on Linux x68_64 (KDE 3.5.9).

#1892 fixed vbox0 interface doesn't start when Virtual Box loads => documented in 1.6.6 Matt
Description

Well, were to start. I'm running Opensuse 11.0. I'm having to constantly (after every startup of the host system) put the "sudo VBoxAddIf vbox0 user br0" command in to fire up the vbox0 interface. After doing so, the Virtual Box system will network and have internet connection. If someone can tell me how to get the vbox0 interface to load on startup of host I would not have any problems with Virtual Box. I have spent many hours trying to resolve this and again, if the vbox0 interface would just load at either the host boot or Virtual box Boot I would be set.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Oh ya, take it easy on me, I'm a Linux noobe.

Yes, I have followed the instructions several times and have come to the conclusion that all I need is the vbox0 interface to load at startup of Host or Virtual Box.

#1893 fixed Resize on OS X Bernd Korz
Description

When i install VB on OS X it leads me thru a dialog. I always can resize every window or even use Fullsize. Even for the "Congratulaion...." it is possible. This is not professionaly and looks like wanted and not known how to do it.

BTW, This is for 1.6.4 ! I cannot report bugs for 1.6.4 so i must use at Version 1.6.2
