| #8264 | duplicate | AutoCAD Crashes VirtualBox | ||
| Description |
The 4.0.2 version of the Guest Additions cause guests to crash when used with AutoCAD or other CAD applications, like SketchUp. Host is Windows 7 Enterprise x64, guest is any version of Windows. After upgrading VirtualBox to 4.0.2, I began upgrading GuestAdditions in each VM. After I had a few done, I noticed that running AutoCAD caused the entire VM to go immediately to a restart, no warnings. Looking through the logs shows an automatic reset of the VM after enabling GL mode. |

| #7249 | obsolete | Automated guest logons: module FAILs after attemp of login with non-existent-user | ||
| Description |
Automated guest logons: module FAILs after attemp of login with non-existent-user Host: RHEL 5.5/x64, VBox 3.2.6 Guest: Windows XP. It is part of WORKGROUP. It has Automated-logon module (VBOXGINA). On host I did: # VBoxManage controlvm "Windows XP" setcredentials "non-existent-user" "123456" "" After this I did: # VBoxManage controlvm "Windows XP" setcredentials "localuser" "123456" "" NOTE: "localuser" exists on that machine, and it log-ins fine after VM restart. Expected results: After failing attempt, the module should accept new credentials and re-try to login. Actual results: After this failing attempt, the module refused work. Workaround is ot login/logoff manually or restart VM. -Technologov, 29.7.2010. |
