| #1083 | fixed | Assertion failure PDMDevice.cpp(1920) | ||
| Description |
During - in our opinion - normal operation, VBox produced an assertion failure (see attached log file). Host is Fedora 7 with a vanilla kernel, Guest is Windows XP with a prerelease of SP3 installed. VBox is OSE 1.5.4, compiled on FC7. The failure is not (simple) reproducible |

| #1084 | fixed | incorrect window size on OS X | ||
| Description |
on OS X the scrollbars are displayed inside the area that contains the host os graphics, and VirtualBox seems to be confused by this. My screen is 1024x1280, and the host is probably 1024x768 which should fit together quite well. However, after start or automatic alignment the window is too small, and scrollbars obscure some important parts of the guest screen. I guess this is because the window is resized to fit the screen, and because of some 1px border it is smaller. This causes the horizontal scrollbar to appear. Now since the scrollbar obscures the bottom of the window the vertical srollbar is needed as well. The window should be at least tall enough to accomodate the guest screen and the vertical srollbar so that most of the guest screen is visible and useless scrollbars are not created. In this specific case it would be optimal it the window border was outside of the screen so that the whole guest screen can fit on the physical screen without scrolling. |
