#1422 obsolete VirtualBox vs Symantec Ghost Kallisto
Description

Host OS: MS Windows XP SP2
Guest OS: PC DOS
VirtualBox version: 1.5.6

I very like VirtualBox. Now, I'm trying to learn how to save HDD image from VirtualBox with Symantec Ghost Solution Suite 2.0 (Ghost 11.0).

Ghost have a wizard, which allow to create bootable CD-ROM or set of two floppy disks. These CD-ROM or floppy contain AMD PCnet or Intel PRO/1000 ndis driver and can connect to a network server to save or restore HDD image.

When I boot VirtualBox guest from the CD-ROM, booting stops at 'Starting PC DOS...' message. VirtualBox log:
Guest Log: BIOS: Boot from Floppy 0 failed
Guest Log: BIOS: Booting from Hard Disk...
Display::handleDisplayResize(): uScreenId = 0, pvVRAM=00000000 w=720 h=400 bpp=0 cbLine=0x0
Guest Log: BIOS: int13_cdemu function AH=42 unsupported, returns fail
<... many identical lines (in except of time) ...>
Guest Log: BIOS: int13_cdemu function AH=42 unsupported, returns fail

When I boot VirtualBox guest from set of floppy disks, guest hangs just after Ghost have loaded. VirtualBox log have these suspect lines:
Guest Log: BIOS: KBD: unsupported int 16h function 6F
Guest Log: BIOS: int13_diskette: unsupported AH=DF
Guest Log: BIOS: int13_diskette: unsupported AH=41
Guest Log: BIOS: int13_diskette: unsupported AH=FF
Guest Log: BIOS: int13_harddisk: function FFh unsupported, returns fail

Is there any workaround?

I can upload full logs, screenshots and images of the CD-ROM / floppy on request.

I can boot VMWare Server guest from the CD-ROM / floppy with no problem :(

P.S.: Sorry for my English... :(

#1424 obsolete Two USB devices with the same PID and VID are not handled correctly pkerling
Description

If two USB devices that share the same product ID and vendor ID (although I'm not sure that this is really the problem, it could happen with other combinations, too) are connected before a VM starts and the VM has an USB filter that is defined by exactly those two IDs, then only one device gets captured and the other one only works when replugged. If one tries to connect it using the USB icon in the lower right hand side corner, it fails stating that the "USB device [...] is busy (waiting for a state change)" (see attached image).
