#6818 obsolete Muting sound on virtualized pc disables soundcard in host pc tspoon765@gmail.com
Description

Host: Ubuntu 10.04 Guest: Win XP

In XP I clicked in the system tray to mute the sound.

Next time I started up the host system, no sound card is even detected.

Starting virtual box and un-muting in the guest system cured the problem.

#6821 obsolete Problem using VirtualBox with a Wacom tablet Antonio Fernandez Ares
Description

Recently i discover something that I think that can be a bug.

I use Windows 7 (64bits) like host for my virtual machines, using VirtualBox 3.2.0 for it. These days, I bought a Wacom Bamboo One tablet. Since then, I have problems with VirtualBox and the service that gestionated the tablet.

If I try to open VirtualBox, Windows alert my that "VirtualBox GUI has encountered a problem and needs to close." I found that this only happens if the Pen_Table.dll service it is running in my system. When I stops the service, VirtualBox works with normal total.

I looked in the forums one solution, but I don't find anything. Someone know where is the problem? It's too bored change always the Pen_Table.dll status depends if i need to use the table or i need to use VirtualBox.

Thanks for the comming help, and I sorry for my bad English but it's not my first language.

Regards

#6825 obsolete XP64 Dual Core VM locks up under load David Abrahams
Description

When I use my XP64 VM with anything above a minimal load (e.g. for software testing) it is prone to "locking up," with VirtualBox taking most of the (MacOSX) host's CPU.
