#11213 worksforme Auto savestate on shutdown causes guest to "aborted" state LolleQ
Description

cat /etc/default/virtualbox:

VBOXWEB_USER=vbox
VBOXWEB_HOST=127.0.0.1
VBOXAUTOSTART_DB=/srv/vbox/autostart
VBOXAUTOSTART_CONFIG=/srv/vbox/autostart/autostart.conf
SHUTDOWN_USERS=vbox
SHUTDOWN=savestate

Machine sets to state "aborted" with error code ns_error_failure.
Saving state of the machine "by hand" works normal, restoring machine from "aborted" or "saved" works too. Autostart of the VM works also (after some major struggle with docs, config files and permissions). Maybe there's some problem with my autostart config, which (I admit) works thanks to kinda method of a blind man ;-)

#8025 fixed Auto update functionality for extension packs => Fixed in SVN mark_orion
Description

I would like to suggest an auto update mechanism for extension packs - at least for the closed source Oracle extension. If that is not possible in the short run, I would suggest that this extension is packaged in the (Linux) repositories in the way VirtualBoxOSE and the closed source VirtualBox where packaged before version 4.x.

#10054 invalid Auto-Resize Guest Display Not Working For Slackware Guest -> guest problem (Openbox) DasFox
Description

Hi,

I'm running Arch x86 as the host, running Slackware 13.37 x86 as the guest in VirtualBox 4.1.8

In Slackware I only run as my desktop OpenBox 3.4.11.2 and I have the guest additions installed.

The 'Auto-Resize Guest Display' does not work, if I resize the window with my mouse, making it smaller or bigger, then click on 'Auto-Resize Guest Display', it does nothing. The only way I can get it to work is to log out of OpenBox, then log back in and then the window is resized.

This is really a pain, you can't resize the window while sitting on your desktop, so I take it, this is probably a lack of support for Slackware and I hope we can please get this fixed for Slackware and get better support for it.

THANKS
