#9164 invalid revert to old snapshot - need to rejoin domain vadimrapp
Description

I do the following on virtual machine with Windows XP SP3

  1. join Windows domain (active directory)
  2. make v.m. snapshot
  3. after several weeks (not sure about the timeframe), revert to the snapshot

When I then start the machine and try to logon to the domain, there's message that the machine is not member of the domain. I then need to logon as local administrator, drop the machine from the domain, and re-join domain.

I tried reverting to the snapshot at once, after I saved it, as well as after couple of days, but this did not happen. It looks like it happens only if the interval has been long enough, several weeks.

#9374 fixed VBoxTray.exe kills clipboard in Windows host and guest vadimrapp
Description
  1. have Windows v.m. with Windows XP SP3, with bridged networking, connected to the common network.
  2. install VB additions 4.1.0 (but this has been observed with many older versions as well)
  3. connect to this virtual machine from another machine (can be VB host, or another machine) through the native Windows Remote Desktop, with Clipboard enabled in Local Resources, i.e. Windows Remote Desktop will provide bidirectional clipboard between the local session of the connecting machine and remote desktop session.

result: as soon as you are connected, the clipboard will stop working on both VB guest and connecting machine. Copy something, then paste, there will be no effect.

  1. on the virtual machine, kill process VBoxTray.exe

result: the clipboard is now working on both VB guest and connecting machine.

#10149 duplicate VBoxHeadless: RegGetValueA could not be located in ADVAPI32.d vadimrapp
Description

After upgrading to 4.1.8, when I launch virtual machine by using vboxheadless.exe ,there's error message "The procedure entry point RegGetValueA could not be located in ADVAPI32.dll"

Note that according to http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/vcgeneral/thread/910a0e22-42bf-437d-8f5b-0162cc691f89 , in Windows XP function RegGetValueA is only available in 64-bit version, and instead RegQueryValueEx should be used.
