#2485 wontfix remember iso image on iso mount disabled Maciej Pilichowski
Description

The iso image is not remembered which makes switching it on/off more tiresome than it could be.

Steps:

  • start VB
  • select guest -> properties
  • iso image mount ON
  • select image
  • Ok
  • quit VB
  • start VB
  • iso image mount OFF
  • ok
  • quit VB
  • start VB
  • iso image mount ON

at this point the selected previously iso image should be mounted, but it is not

Ok, the bottom line is switching on/off the mount iso image in the guest properties should only do this -- mount off or not. It should not change the selected image.

#17939 fixed release 5.2.18 was not made available for the Fedora 28 repository F
Description

Virtualbox 5.2.18, released on Aug 14, was not made available for the Fedora 28 repository.

The rpm is missing in http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/rpm/fedora/28/x86_64/

However, the file is present in the F26 repository: http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/rpm/fedora/26/x86_64/

Since it seems to be the same file, it just needs to be copied to ../f28

#4511 worksforme regression: winxp guest shows "cable unplugged" for 2 nics, AMD PCNET & Intel PR01000MT m27315
Description

My Windows XP Pro guest has 2 NAT attached NICS:

  1. NAT: PCnet-FAST III (Am79C973)
  2. NAT: Intel PRO/10000 MT Server (82545EM)

In VB 2.2.4, everything works fine. I am able to access both local shares and the internet. However, in both 3.0.0 and 3.0.2, both adapters show up in the Windows tray as "Cable unplugged", and I cannot access the internet. I have downgraded from 3.0.0 to 2.2.4, and the network works fine again. I have not tried downgrading from 3.0.2 yet...

Interestingly, I can see my mapped drives via VB shared folders on my local box in 3.0, even though the network cable is "unplugged".

Thanks!
