| #6504 | obsolete | VB 3.1.x not compatible with Kaspersky AV 6.0 on Win7 x64 | ||
| Description |
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 cannot be installed while VirtualBox is present. Further, after reinstalling VirtualBox, after successfully completing Kaspersky installation, "Event 41 - Kernel Power" errors keep crashing the computer. When I uninstall VirtualBox, this behavior stops. Note: There are no virtual machines running when these crashes happen. It seems to be merely the presence of the software. #1778 is a similar issue, but under WinXP. Processor: 2.83 MHz Intel Core 2 Quad Core with Virtualization OS: Windows 7 Professional (x64) |

Installed Ubuntu 10.04, latest updates as of this moment are installed, with 3d-acceleration enabled...
