| #988 | worksforme | SpeedFan problem when starting Virtual Box | ||
| Description |
When I start VirtualBox, SpeedFan does not work anymore. SpeedFan does not show any temperatures anymore and fans are not adjusted. Restart is required in order to get SpeedFan working again. This problem happens as soon as VirtualBox shows the XP boot logo. (I think this might be because of USB integration or so). When SpeedFan stops working and I close it, then start it new, I get an error message saying that it could not read the memory. (I do not know the error message exactly. Will post later). |

| #989 | worksforme | problem in build: zlib is referenced but absent in the trunk | ||
| Description |
In the latest revision (6140) there are references to zlib. But zlib itself is missing.
When compiling there were errors (zlib.h missing).
I tried to copy zlib from zlib.org to vbox\src\libs\ (and renaming it from 1.2.3 to 1.2.1). The result is: compilation successful, but when linking, error:
kmk.exe[3]: * No rule to make target |

| #991 | duplicate | sharedfolder access -> bluescreen | ||
| Description |
I'm using VirtualBox on SUSE Linux 10.3 and I'm running Windows XP Professional within the VirtualBox. I'm also using a shared folder from my linux host within the virtual machine. When I'm trying to compile stuff directly on the shared folder I experience various bluescreeens (e.g, RDR_FILE_SYSTEM or IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL). When I copy the folder before compilation to a local folder, these errors don't occure. |
