#9503 fixed segfault at 0 error 4 in VBoxVRDP.so -> Fixed in SVN Ian Moore
Description

Hello,

VBoxHeadless dies with:

VBoxHeadless[7453]: segfault at 0 ip 00007f4d1a5bb5c6 sp 00007f4d1a12cb90 error 4 in VBoxVRDP.so[7f4d1a550000+175000]

Firstly, I can't get a windows 7 RDP client to connect to the console of a running VM. So I use the Flash rdp client distributed with the SDK. When I connect using just the flash app, it's fine. If I try to connect with the win7 rdp client (it will fail to connect) THEN use the flash app, vboxheadless segfaults.

Host: Linux 2.6.38.8 #1 SMP x86_64 GNU/Linux vbox 4.1.2-73507~Debian~squeeze Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.1.2-73507.vbox-extpack

#3743 duplicate segfault after connecting to virtual machine with rdesktop Johannes Woesten
Description

I've set up a windows 2003 terminal server guest on a linux (CentOS 5.3) host with bridged networking on eth1. Logging in to that machine with "rdesktop" kills the guest and the following entries appear in "/var/log/messages":

   device eth1 entered promiscuous mode
   VirtualBox[2236]: segfault at 0000000000000026 rip 00000034b04758bb rsp 0000000040d9d770 error 4

#4705 fixed seeing opensolaris 118 guest panic Will Fiveash
Description

I just saw my OpenSolaris snv_118 guest session panic when running in a VB 3.0.4 guest. Here is the stack of the panic dump:

print ::stack | mdb unix.4 vmcore.4 _Z24vbglPhysHeapExcludeBlockP18_VBGLPHYSHEAPBLOCK+0x26() VbglPhysHeapFree+0x8b() VbglHGCMCall+0x2a2() _Z29VBoxGuestCommonIOCtl_HGCMCallP15VBOXGUESTDEVEXTP16VBOXGUESTSESSIONP22_VBoxGu estHGCMCallInfojbbmmPm+0x176() VBoxGuestCommonIOCtl+0x3cb() VBoxGuestSolarisIOCtl+0x2ac() cdev_ioctl+0x45(10900000000, c0105692, fffffd7fff0fccf0, 202003, ffffff00d38126d8, ffffff0002551e24) spec_ioctl+0x83(ffffff00d350fb00, c0105692, fffffd7fff0fccf0, 202003, ffffff00d38126d8, ffffff0002551e24) fop_ioctl+0x7b(ffffff00d350fb00, c0105692, fffffd7fff0fccf0, 202003, ffffff00d38126d8, ffffff0002551e24) ioctl+0x18e(3, c0105692, fffffd7fff0fccf0) sys_syscall+0x17a()

This occurred when the VM was configured with two virtual CPUs. The hosting OS is OS X 10.5.8 running on a MacBook Pro with 4GB RAM. I have the unix and vmcore images to upload/attach somewhere if someone needs them, just let me know.
