| #1562 | fixed | VBox 1.6 clock goes to Jan 1 1970 and then back to current time. -> fixed in SVN/1.6.2 | ||
| Description |
Hello, I'm running VBox 1.6 on SXDE 1/08 host. I've installed OpenSolaris 2008.05 guest and found interesting issue with a clock going back to Jan 1 1970 and then forward to the current time again. When I log output of following simple script: while (true) do date sleep 1 done the output looks: Fri May 16 20:34:05 CEST 2008 Fri May 16 20:34:06 CEST 2008 Fri May 16 20:34:07 CEST 2008 Fri May 16 20:34:08 CEST 2008 Thu Jan 1 01:00:00 CET 1970 Thu Jan 1 01:00:01 CET 1970 Thu Jan 1 01:00:02 CET 1970 Fri May 16 20:34:13 CEST 2008 Fri May 16 20:34:14 CEST 2008 Fri May 16 20:34:15 CEST 2008 Fri May 16 20:34:16 CEST 2008 Fri May 16 20:34:17 CEST 2008 Please also note that 1 second in guest == 1 second in host, so clock is not slow down. My guest configuration is attached. Karel |

| #1563 | fixed | Virtualbox doesn't work with UseCompositeWrapper option enabled | ||
| Description |
Virtualbox makes X crash if you use UseCompositeWrapper option in your xorg.conf file. This option needs if you have nvidia card and you have some messy problem using compiz (see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/222714) If you comment the option, everything works well, so it is definitely the guilty. Kubuntu 8.04 Virtualbox 1.6.0 from deb site (no repository) I had the same error with VB 1.5.6 |
