#15062 worksforme Faild to install the extension pack 5.0.14-105127 Аналитик
Description

Failed to install the Extension Pack E:/Temp/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-5.0.14-105127.vbox-extpack.

The installer failed with exit code 1: VBoxExtPackHelperApp.exe: error: Failed to rename the temporary directory to the final one: VERR_ACCESS_DENIED ('C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox/ExtensionPacks/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-_-inst-1084' -> 'C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox/ExtensionPacks/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack')

rcExit=1.

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005) Component: ExtPackManagerWrap Interface: IExtPackManager {edba9d10-45d8-b440-1712-46ac0c9bc4c5}

Please remove the mentioned directory (...-inst-6696) manually. The reason for the existence of such a directory is often that a previous attempt to install the ExtPack failed, most likely because a VM was still running. As of VBox 5.0.12, an additional check detects if at least one VM is running and refuses to upgrade the ExtPack in that case.

It doesn't help.

Disabled security anti-virus firewall. Shutdown All VMs and VirtualBox Manager. Open CMD prompt as Administrator. CD to Oracle\VirtualBox directory. Run: "vboxmanage extpack cleanup". Run: Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-5.0.2-102096.vbox-extpack (or whatever ver you're using)

It doesn't help. As well as running

as Administrator, reboot, еtс.
