| #1529 | fixed | Fedora 9 http install failed (Guru meditation in pgmGCBth32Bit32BitCheckPageFault) | ||
| Description |
Fedora 8 fully updated as host, installing Fedora 9 as Guest using VB-1.6.0 Started and processed to about 60% of packages installed. Log attached (only thing I could decern was page fault?) F9 has never been installed on this machine using VB yet. This is important as this is the new release and many will want to be doing that. |

| #1531 | fixed | Keyboard in guest very sluggish, some key strokes not captured | ||
| Description |
This problem has been described in full on the vbox-users mailing list. http://vbox.innotek.de/pipermail/vbox-users/2008-May/003217.html Since sending that post, I've downgraded to virtualbox 1.5.6, and things are working just as they used to. This leads me to believe the problem is with vbox 1.6.0 itself, and not with my hardware. I also installed a winxp guest for testing purposes to see if I have the same problem there, and the keyboard works just fine in the winxp guest under vbox 1.6.0. So, the problem seems to be with the gnu/linux guest only. I've attached a log of my gnu/linux guest vm running under vbox 1.6.0. The problem was so bad that I couldn't even type root <enter> my_password <enter> in order to login, and shut down the machine properly via halt. I had to use "vboxmanage controlvm debian poweroff". |

| #1533 | fixed | Geexbox Issue | ||
| Description |
Host Windows XP SP3 Guest Geexbox 1.1 (ftp://ftp.proxad.net/pub/Distributions_Linux/GeeXboX/releases/1.1/geexbox-generator-1.1.i386.tar.gz) I have been using virtuabox 1.5.0 to run Geexbox with absolutely no problems, even managing to run the usb remote control. However since I have upgraded to 1.6 as soon as Geexbox loads up its window (as opposed to its loading console elements) the screen is moving up and down making it unusable. I have tried changing the resolution settings of the geexbox iso with no luck Thanks for all the help in advance! Alex |
