Problem Discribtion
Since a couple of days I have a laptop and want to use it also for this kind of work (Virtualmachines). No problem at all when I'm running Win2k3 or XP, but when I'm starting Ubuntu 7.10 it will freeze at some point. P.S.: The support has become sh. I just took a look at the open tickets and that are many. I stopped with searching in the ticketbox because you can't get an easy overview in it. And the biggest problem of the support is that SUN won't help you at all. They distribute xVM 1.6.0 and there name is on it but no support from them... And just an easy contact mail from Innotek is gone. (Last time I used that I had solid and good support). |

| #1496 | fixed | Upgrading from 1.5.51 to 1.6 op OpenSolaris | ||
| Description |
I had a working version of 1.5.51 on OpenSolaris build 86 and installed 1.6. At first I had an error telling me that there was an old version of a driver installed, so I removed the new package and the old INNOvBox package. The re-installed - no apparent errors. Attempting to start a machine now gives me an error. "VirtualBox kernel driver not installed. VBox status code: -1908 (VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED). Result Code: 0x80004005 Component: Console Interface: IConsole {d5a1cbda-f5d7-4824-9afe-d640c94c7dcf}" Thanks for your help |
