| #871 | invalid | Mouse nearly unuseable with remote desktop | ||
| Description |
Connecting to a virtual machine using virtualbox's vrdp integration renders the host mouse nearly unuseable. Moving the client mouse across the entire remote desktop window only results in the host mouse being moved perhaps 5% of the same distance (This is true of both the horizontal and vertical axes). Information: Server virtualbox is being hosted on: Windows 2003 Standard Server Virtualbox host operating system I'm connecting to: Windows 98 Computer I'm using remote desktop from: Windows XP I've disabled mouse acceleration in Windows 98, though it doesn't seem to make a difference in the amount of space the mouse moves at all. I'm also using the default windows XP remote desktop client and the "closed source" edition of virtualbox. If required, I might be able to produce a video to show the problem in more detail. If any more information is required I'll be happy to help. |
