Description

SEAMLESS WINDOWS - displaying guest OS side by side with host OS

Tried enabling, decreasing, increasing settings of video, CPU, memory of a guest OS but still no display of guest OS in Seamless Windows mode. The only thing that is displayed is the menu bottom near taskbar of Windows 7.

Have downloaded repeatedly, many times Windows 7 images from modern.ie images. Confirmed they were extracted to form the .ova image But confident an attacker is not letting me do this easily. Description

When the host taskbar is located on the left side of the screen, in seamless mode parts of old guest window drawings still remain visible although the window has been dragged to another position.

  • This behaviour first occurred in late 3.x.x versions. I can't name an exact version, but all versions prior & including 3.1.6 are not affected.




I only found out about this bug, because I had a similar problem with another application, whose window "jumped" to the right when it got redrawn (with the taskbar on the left). The author of the application fixed this bug in the current version and might be helpful pointing in the right direction. Contact: http://www.mwconn.net
