| #6480 | obsolete | Allow disk UUID change/delete when importing an already existing disk | ||
| Description |
I imported a VM, then deleted the VM from the GUI. The harddisk file was still on the disk. I imported again the same VM. VB told me "there is a disk with the same UUID still present". Suggestion : allow the user to choose between 1) overwrite existing file on disk 2) import the VM ignoring the harddisk file (i.e. only create the VM in the GUI and attach the harddisk file on disk as the primary HD) |

| #13533 | worksforme | Allow entering keystrokes by name -> use VBoxManage | ||
| Description |
Even when host keys are grabbed, not all keystrokes get passed to VirtualBox (such as Ctrl-Alt-F1 on Linux). The user should be able to send keystrokes entered in a textual representation, such as "Ctrl-Alt-F1" or "C-M-<f1>". |

| #1119 | duplicate | Allow for easy increase of the VDI size | ||
| Description |
A lot of people (looking at the forums) have a problem increasing the size of a vdi. With foresight this can be avoided (making it dynamic and big enough), but sometimes you just need to increase the size. Since other virtualization tools also have the same problem, it would be great for VirtualBox to be able to do it in an easy way. I don't mind whether it would be via the GUI or a command-line tool. As use case: Make a vdi of 3Gb (dynamic), install Windows XP in it and try to make it 8Gb big e.g. |
