#10736 duplicate Intermittent Host BSOD when Guest is shutting down DNS
Description

Hi,

I experience host system crashes when I shutdown a guest on a frequent but not consistent basis. This has been happening across a number of Virtualbox versions. It doesn't matter what kind of guest os I happen to be running at the time when this happens. The problem according to bluescreenview is almost always labelled as a memory management error. Attached is the memory dump and logs. Please look into this as soon as you can.

#11056 duplicate Host cannot enter hibernate or standby mode USB Passthrough enabled for guest DNS
Description

Hello,

Whenever I have a running guest with USB passthrough enabled for it, the Host doesn't properly enter standby or hibernation. The result is a limbo state where the host freezes up in the middle of entering a power saving state - never succeeding to complete the operation. This needs to be resolved with a hard shutdown. This behavior is independent of all guest types I have worked with. It is the same whether a blank device filter was used or not.

The USB functionality itself is working great with no issues whatsoever. I am using the EHCI controller as I do not have any legacy peripherals.

I didn't think a Guest log was relevant but will attach one if necessary.

#10899 worksforme Not fully compatible with xmodmap DNied
Description

VirtualBox 4.1.16 and 4.1.20 have problems with xmodmap: I use xmodmap in X11 to partially remap my keyboard, but 2 of the remapped keys are not visible to the VMs (any guest type). I tried showkeys on a Linux guest's tty and the keypresses were not being received at all.

I'm attaching the Xmodmaprc file with which I customize my keyboard (works flawlessly on the host). The keys that VirtualBox won't send are '3' and 'à' (the host's keyboard has an Italian layout). Whether they are pressed alone or with any modifier, doesn't change the fact that the keypresses for those 2 keys aren't being sent to the guest.

Removing the xmodmap command from my ~/.xinitrc fixes the problem, but then the layout is "wrong" (i.e.: not the one I like to use).

Some version and environment info for the HOST system:

The VBox.log file doesn't seem to contain anything related to the keyboard, so I will only attach it on request.
