| #10608 | worksforme | VT-x not detected | ||
| Description |
I've been trying to install Window 8 Consumer Preview Build 8250. I enabled VT-x in my BIOS and in VirtualBox. It said when I booted up in the VM that I had VT-x enabled but not operative, and caused the following error in the booting process of Windows 8: 0x0000000A. It would also occasionally pull a Guru Meditation. I use: HP 520 Intel Core Duo T2400(1833 Mhz, SSE2, SSE3, VT-x) 4GB RAM 80GB HDD I selected in VirtualBox: IO APIC PIIX 3 & ICH9 VT-x PAE/NX and 1 CPU |

| #16317 | fixed | Don't ask for upgrading the ExtPack if started by clicking .vbox-extpack | ||
| Description |
After installing/updating to a new version of VirtualBox I launch VirtualBox by double clicking the latest extension pack (*.vbox-extpack) file which starts the UI and brings up the window asking if I want to update the extension pack. The issue is a second later a window pops up asking if I want to download the latest extension pack, it would be nice if this window did not appear if VirtualBox was launched by double clicking the .vbox-extpack file. |

| #18206 | fixed | Error when installing Extension Pack -> fixed after (not in) 6.0.2 | ||
| Description |
When installing the extension pack via double clicking the vbox-extpack file, VirtualBox displays an error. This is a "copy" of the error: Unknown option E:\Software - OpenSource\VirtualBox\VirtualBox 6.0.00\Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-6.0.0.vbox-extpack. |
