| #119 | fixed | Availability of settings info to restrictive | ||
| Description |
When a VM is running or saved in a snapshot state, settings cannot be modified. This is understandable because those changes can only take effect when the VM is actually booted. Most info about settings is available in the read only tab sheet "Details" in the VirtualBox GUI. However, detailed info like connected virtual disks cannot be reached because the option dialog is not opened. My suggestion: make this info available (as if the VM is switched off), i.e. open the options dialog, but grey out all fields, indicating that all options are not writeable. |

| #120 | fixed | Failed to access USB subsystem | ||
| Description |
I receive the following error when using VirtualBox on Windows XP SP1 or SP2 as the host. Could not load the Host USB Proxy Service (VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND).The service might be not installed on the host computer Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005) Component: Host Interface: IHost {fd443ec1-000b-4f5b-9282-d72760a66916} The MSI installs fine and launches with no problems. This error occurs whenever I try to access the file/global settings option. On my XP SP2 system, this overwrote my existing USB drivers and I could not use my USB ports. I've installed VB with the USB option enabled and disabled and receive the same error. |

| #121 | fixed | IBM JVM 1.4.2 does not work on Linux guests | ||
| Description |
IBM JVM 1.4.2 does not work under a Linux guest. For example, if "java -version" is called, the java process will start eating memory until linux kill it after some minutes running without answer. The same does not happen on a CentOS 4.4 under Xen ou under VMWare Player. To make sure it was not a CentOS specific problem I tried the same IBM JVM under a Ubuntu 7.04 guest but the problem was the same. IBM JVM is available at http://www.ibm.com/java |
