| #1199 | obsolete | USB flakiness with binary release | ||
| Description |
So on my gentoo machine, I first installed the virtualbox-ose edition, setup a VM and had fun. I then decided to try to get USB support working, so I switched to the virtualbox-bin ebuild in order to get the full binary distrubtion. While running this version (both with and without USB support enabled in my VM), I ran into a very strange problem where at random times, my USB mouse would 'lock up' by jumping to the upper left corner of the screen and refusing to accept/register any movement. Mouse button presses would continue to work. Shutting down the VM would NOT solve the issue, but restarting the X server would. After having this happen many times within a few hours, I uninstalled the binary version of VirtualBox, and went back to the OSE edition. Since then, no such problems have happened. |

| #1205 | obsolete | Mouse scroll wheel not working | ||
| Description |
Host Fedora 8 64 bit, guest XP Pro 32. The mouse scroll wheel works fine on host. Not working at all in guest. I tried changing setting in XP> Control Panel> Mouse> Hardware> Properties> Advanced Settings> Wheel Detection to "look for wheel". This did not fix. Anything I can try? Didn't see a ticket regarding this yet. Thought I'd post one. |

| #1229 | obsolete | Never-ending scrolling -> obsolete | ||
| Description |
When I scroll horizontally through Excel worksheets by pressing the arrow-button of the scrollbar and do not release the mouse button immediately the system behaves like I would still hold the mouse button down. Scrolling stops not before Excel has scrolled through the whole table. I have found an analog behaviour as I tried to select text in the Excel VBA editor over the bottom of the window. Host: Ubuntu 7.10 Guest: Windows XP Pro VBox-Version: 1.5.6 (Ubuntu package 1.5.6-28266_Ubuntu_gutsy) |
