| #3260 | duplicate | windows xp guest takes a long time to boot after reboot | ||
| Description |
I know I have a ticket open on this issue somewhere, but the lack of ability to just search for one's own tickets leaves me unable to find it. So a new ticket... Using VB 2.1.2 (this has existed for many versions however) on Linux with a Windows XP guest, the first boot of WinXP after a reboot of the host (or a reloading of the VB modules) goes relatively quickly. However if I reboot the guest, on boot up, it takes very long to get to fully booted again. If I unload the virtualbox modules between the shutdown and startup however it boots relatively quickly again. I will attach a log of one of these post-reboot long boots. Note that in this one, the guest seems to have "Abort"ed at the end. I don't know if this is typical or not as I tend to not wait the almost two hours for one of these post-reboot boots to complete. |

| #10064 | obsolete | windows xp guest stops updated screen after switching from scaled to default | ||
| Description |
Host OS: OS X 10.6.8 Hardware: MacBook Pro6,2 (Intel HD Graphics + Nvidia GeForce GT 330M) Guest OS: Windows XP SP3 2D and 3D acceleration both enabled When I start up in "default" mode (i.e. Windows XP is shown in a non-full-screen window without any scaling) I can press "Apple-C" to switch to scale mode. This is successful and everything works as expected in scale mode. However, if I hit "Apple-C" again to switch back to default mode, I lose all screen output in the Guest OS Window. It still accepts keyboard and mouse *input*, but the screen isn't updated to reflect the affects of that input. Switching to a different application in OS X (that covers up the Virtual Box window) and then switching back to the VirtualBox window will cause the screen updates to be displayed. |

| #8433 | fixed | windows xp guest get frozen with several visual impairements | ||
| Description |
It seems related to bug 8405 and 8432. I´ve used the internet explorer for surfing on microsoft websites. The whole system gets frozen. 3d support is installed -> that is the problem; before that the same guest works properly. |
