| #403 | fixed | RDP connection loss after some seconds, Xubuntu 7.04 AMD64 Host, WinXP guest | ||
| Description |
Host is a Xubuntu 7.04 AMD64, Windows XP works perfect with guest additions installed. I can connect to it from another Windows XP system with the RemoteDesktop connection. Authentication mode is set to NULL. Guest and extern modes won't work at all. It works for a few seconds and then the RemoteDesktop connection quits with the following error: The session is being closed due to a protocol error (Code 0x1304) Try to restart the connection. Restarting won't work until I reboot the virtual machine. The error messages are often changing. But there's always a 'protocol error' mentioned in them. |

| #11861 | duplicate | problem starting VirtualBox, deleting a HDD file or deleting a snapshot | ||
| Description |
In 1/10 starts I have to wait minutes and it finally shows the message "Failed to create the VirtualBox Com object. The application will now terminate. Details: Callee RC: CO_E_SERVER_EXEC_FAILURE (0x80080005)". The problem has the same cause as the error I sometimes receive when I try to delete something in "Virtual media manager". It says that "is still attached to 1 virtual machines" even if the virtual machine is closed. And when I'm trying to delete a snapshot - same problem. It doesn't happen very often (about 1 in 10 starts) but it is annoying. Could you please fix it...? Thank you. Regards, Cosmin |
