| #1297 | fixed | Gutsy host; XP guest; keyboard/mouse frozen during XP install | ||
| Description |
System: P4 2.80 / 2GB Ram / Radeon X1300 (256Mb) / 500Gb IDE / wireless-usb logitech mouse / wired usb Microsoft keyboard I've got 1.5.6 installed. Made the changes needed to have functioning USB (fstab, usbfs group/permissions, etc). Successfully created a VM (1Gb, 128Mb video, sound, cd w/pass-through, 100Gb dynamic v-disk). VM starts, boots into XP Home setup. During the initial (text) portion of setup, mouse and keyboard freeze. Setup proceeds to the prompt "Enter to continue, F3 to abort". Stuck there. VM does not release keyboard/mouse on <right-ctrl>. Cannot proceed with setup, cannot return to Gutsy. I am forced to press the reset button. |
