#10788 obsolete After Installing VirtualBox on Windows 7, WiFi radio is off iSteve
Description

After installing VirtualBox 4.1.12 on Windows 7 then when ever my HP EliteBook 8460p wakes up the WiFi radio is off and I have to open Windows Mobility Center (WinKey+X) and turn it back on. It is quite annoying. I have seen this on previous versions of Virtual Box, but it was not until many of my co-workers began installing VirtualBox and immediately after started seeing the same behavior that I finally figured out when the problem started. Our IT department cannot figure out the solution, and of course just fall back to re-installing the Windows 7 OS... and of course the problem goes away until I need VirtualBox to be installed again.

#2601 fixed After MacOS X suspend/resume, bottom of fullscreen display can't be read Terry (Sarito) Whatley
Description

Running

  • Solaris nv84
  • in full screen mode
  • under virtual box 2.0.4, (but saw this behavior in earlier versions of VB)
  • on a Macbook pro 17" laptop
  • running macos 10.5.5.

when I suspend (sleep) the laptop, and then resume, the bottom of the display seems to extend beyond the actual display, so I can't read the labels in the solaris gnome toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

This may also involve unplugging my 2nd display and bringing the mac back up without it, not sure if this is necessary to reproduce it.
