| #5766 | obsolete | Failure to mount share on linux guest kills smb on Windows 7 64bit host | ||
| Description |
I can reproduce this without fail. Host Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit Guest Fedora 12 32 bit bridged network In the guest vm I have a share called music. If I do not mount the share in Fedora 12 smb sharing is non functional on the host and other host shares outside of vbox are not accessible from the network until the machine is rebooted. If I do mount the vm share in the guest or delete it then smb shares on the host are accessible from other machines on the network. |

| #5769 | obsolete | Kaspersky hangs guest system during install | ||
| Description |
I'm running 3.1.0, r55467. The host is Ubuntu 9.10 AMD 64 and the guest is windows 7, home premium, 32 bit. I've been trying to load the newer Kasperski software, which is "Internet Security 2010, kis2010_9.0.0.736en.exe" It gets most of the way through the process, but then hangs the win 7 OS to the point where I have to power down the VM and then repair windows. It would seem that it's a win 7 issue, however I have installed the same kas under win 7 on two other native machines I have running. |

| #5770 | obsolete | VirtualBox crashes on starting Portable Ubuntu on Windows (Guest) on Ubuntu (Host) (recompiler triple fault guru) | ||
| Description |
Whenever I try to run Portable Ubuntu (http://portableubuntu.demonccc.com.ar/) on my virtual Windows (Seven - Enterprise 32-Bit) running throw VirtualBox (3.0.8_OSE r53138) on my Ubuntu (9.10, Karmic Koala) I get a long mesage from VirtualBox that it got a problem so it chrashes. This isn't that worse, becurse nobody needs to run pUbuntu (Portable Ubuntu) if the Host is Ubuntu :P (exept for testing), but I'm believing that this bug maybe also appears on other Host OSs. (Why don't use Ubuntu as an extra Guest-OS‽) This ticket may be a bit similar to this one: http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/3724 |
