#5758 obsolete Caps Lock key reverses function errant wheel mouse operations... Pete
Description

Greetings,

I am running Windows XP as the host OS with the latest version of VirtualBox (3.1.0). My only guest OS is Ubuntu 9.10. For some reason while working in the virtual Ubuntu environment, my caps lock key gets reversed and my Microsoft wireless laser mouse starts behaving erratic (i.e. wheel stops working, can't move open windows on the desktop properly, etc.). This bad behavior gets carried over to XP when I switch out of the virtual environment using CTRL-F. My system is an HP Core Two Duo with 4 gigs of RAM. I am not able to discern what action or event triggers this behavior. Regrettably, I have to restart XP to clear the problem. Along with the caps lock key getting reversed, I am unable to type any digit characters what-so-ever...bummer. Any help would be appreciated.

#5763 obsolete USB SmartCard Reader EZ100PU does not work in VirtualBox on Ubuntu 9.10 x64 Joe
Description

The guest OS is Windows XP x86 and Host OS is ubuntu 9.10 x64.

I tried to connect a USB smartcard reader ( EZ100PU ) to Windows XP. Windows can successfully detect the USB smartcard reader and the driver is installed successfully.

However, all the software using the SmartCard does not work. The smartcard reader diagnosis tool can not detect the reader.
