| #1278 | fixed | more prevention to avoid deleting of a virtual machine | ||
| Description |
Hi, could you integrate more prevention for deleting of virtual machines? May be adding the "delete virtual machine" to the os user access control - UAC? Sounds silly but if you have to use a laptops touchpad and forget to disable this darned double clicking by tapping feature and fail to target the cancel button your VM has gone. cheers, Kay http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00678194&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=3435819 |

| #1280 | fixed | WinXP fails to install with "Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy Check)" on Linux 2.6.22 hosts. | ||
| Description |
While installing WinXP SP2, the installation fails after the first reboot with the error "Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy Check)". This has happened on two completely separate machines; one running Gentoo and the other running Ubuntu. In both cases, the host is running a 2.6.22 series kernel. The problem disappeared on the Gentoo machine after upgrading to a 2.6.23 series kernel. I have found a workaround; setting "Enable Passthrough" on the CD-ROM device in the guest makes the error go away. I have no idea why. |

| #1282 | fixed | Guru meditation (pgmPoolTrackFlushGCPhysPTInt) | ||
| Description |
While running VirtualBox 1.5.6 on Win 2K with a high I/O load on a write-through harddrive in the Linux 2.6 guest I received a Guru Meditation error. I've been running this kind of programs for weeks, however, without any problems, so I have no clue if it's related to the error . I don't attach VBox.png because it contains classified information but it shows nothing of interest to the crash I'm sure. Martin |
