#5427 fixed Windows 7 64bit host, guest GUI crashes during file transfer => Fixed in SVN/3.1.2 Cody Craven
Description

Running Windows 7 64bit as host operating system. Fedora 11 x86 as guest.

When uploading a large number for files from the guest system to a remote server the VirtualBox GUI crashes. I have been using FileZilla as my guest's FTP client via a NAT network connection.

Occasionally this issue has also caused my Guest Additions to become uninstalled upon reboot and require re-installation, but I am not sure if this is related.

There appears to be a small number of users who have encountered this same issue on the forums. One of them reported using a Windows Vista guest.

#13999 duplicate SSH Broken Pipe Issue Michal Růžička
Description

Since VirtualBox 4.3.24 my SSH connections from my guest openSUSE 13.2 64-bit (hosted on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit) to any server are suddenly disconnected with error message:

Write failed: Broken pipe

The error occurs at random intervals since roughly 10 second to several minutes since the connection is opened.

The connection brakes regardless the amount of data transferred through the connection. I have a feeling the connection last a bit longer when there is an activity on the link (I am actively doing something over the SSH connection). However, even in the middle of writing the connection drops from time to time.

The problem was confirmed by other user: https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=66820&p=316749#p316749
