#2984 fixed unable to assign host interface name Rafael Chang
Description

In previous release 2.0.6 for Fedora 9, I was able to assign to "host Interface" any of the user defined bridge interface under say br0, by typing for example tap77 for all bridge intf, now this is not allowed on user UI. Even if I manually change this in my xml definition file still does not work.

I was not able to assing tap77 from br0 as a Host Interface.

#6826 fixed un-discoverable bug reporting David Abrahams
Description

Just wanted to report a bug today. Several things got in the way:

  1. no obvious link to "report a new bug" at virtualbox.org or at virtualbox.org/ticket/xxxx
  1. Big warning about "no vbox.log file" reports, yet
  1. no instructions on or linked from the page for finding said file
  1. instructions in The Fine Manual don't say anything about where they are on MacOS (under ~/Library).

In short, the interface for bug reporters is not "discoverable."

#6494 fixed umount iso from menu crashed the guest Dominique
Description

Hi,

Vista 64 bit guest in Win7 host, from the VirtualBox menu I put DVD back to E: and umounted a couple of ISO, the last one being an old guest additions ISO. This crashed the guest (windows wanted to report something) and VirtualBox needed a restart. There is an assert in the log.

Best Regards -- DoM
