#3369 obsolete Problems with flashing HTC Touch Diamond watchme
Description

Situation:

Virtualbox: 2.1.4
Host: Linux 2.6.28-5.slh.3-sidux-amd64 (USB is managed by udev)
Guest: Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3
My cell phone: HTC Touch Diamond ROM 1.93

Office 2007 installed, ActiveSync 4.5 works fine. Syncs everything with Outlook without Problems.
The phone is found as 'HTC Generic Serial'.

watchme@Sidux64:~$ VBoxManage list usbhost

Pre:

Downloaded the actual ROM for my cell, and was told to connect it via USB and ActiveSync.
After starting the installer the phone is rebooted into flash-mode.
The Virtualbox looses the connection to the phone.

Problem:

After a few seconds another USB device appeares instead of the 'HTC Generic Serial'.
it is named 'HTC Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM'.
If you now want to bind it to virtualbox you get

ERROR:

Failed to create a proxy device for the USB device. (Error: VERR_READ_ERROR).

I did build a filter, too, the Error stays the same.

#13764 obsolete problems with multi physical processors server wassy83
Description

System host DEBIAN 7 on IBM SERVER SYSTEM X with 2 physical CPU on board guest WINDOWS SERVER 2008 x64 r2 updated virtualbox running headless V 4.3.2 all extensions and addiction updated VTx enabled on 2x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU5160 @ 3.00GHz, dual core processor 3GB ram assigned 2x core assigned VDI is dinamically 250GB assigned

Problem: every time I'm trying to install an heavy software about to 6.8GB after 10 minutes system will abort, no bsod only black screen and machine istantly aborted, in general system seems to be slow and unstable even with simple desktop operations.

Fix: assigning one core fixed the instability: in a different office that are using same softwares, I replied the same identical configuration with no problem, only difference is the fauty one has 2x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU 5160 @ 3.00GHz, 2 cores the good one has 2x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5420 @ 2.50GHz, 4 cores

on the good one I have 2 guest "asterisk 2X core, server 2008 2X core" on the faulty one only guest is server 2008 that was running unstable with 2X core. I think that this is related with multi physical processors server Log is always the same and is attached

many thanks

#12710 duplicate VMware ESXi cannot start wasapl
Description

I'm trying to setyp VMware ESXi as guest for windows 7 host. I figured out that ESXi fail to setup on latest version of VirtualBox 4.3.6 r91406. But it work fine on VirtualBox 4.2.20 r91556 I've tested ESXi 5.1.0 and 5.1.0 versions - behavior is the same. Also I've recorded ESXi behavior with VirtualBox embedded recorder.
