| #5396 | obsolete | Drag & drop doesn’t work on Visual Basic forms - Vista host / WinXp guest | ||
| Description |
VirtualBox version: 3.0.10 r54097
Host: Windows Vista sp2
Guest: Windows XP sp3
Application on guest: Visual Basic 6.0 sp6
Description: If I try to drag & drop controls on a Visual Basic form (at design time), releasing the left mouse button the mouse pointer becomes an hourglass and the control doesn’t move at all. This happens also in another virtual machine (even this with WinXP SP3), where Visual Basic 5.0 sp3 runs. |

| #5401 | obsolete | MINIX 3.1.5: GPF during boot (only w/ RAW mode) | ||
| Description |
MINIX 3.1.5 does not boot under VirtualBox 3.0.10 in RAW mode. It encounters a General Protection Fault during boot and drops back to the boot monitor. This problem does not occur if hardware acceleration is enabled or if RAW mode is disabled (using --norawr0 --norawr3 with VBoxSDL). To reproduce the issue:
You can find the MINIX 3.1.5 ISO here: http://www.minix3.org/download/minix_R3.1.5-r5612.iso.bz2. Thanks for your help. I'd be happy to help debug the issue. |

| #5405 | obsolete | Various games crash on startup in VirtualBox | ||
| Description |
A number of games from GameHouse and BigFish will simply crash on startup in VirtualBox, or start showing a black screen. This has been happening for basically the whole VBox 3 series (never tried with 2) with the VirtualBox guest additions To take one example among many, "Campfire legends, the hookman" (http://www.gamehouse.com/download-games/campfire-legends-the-hookman), freely downloadable for a trial, crashes on startup, the error report says the error occurred in wined3d.dll (unfortunately I cannot get any significant log). A different example is provided by "Drawn, the painted tower" (http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/6098/drawn-the-painted-tower/index.html), freely downloadable for a trial, which does start, but results in a completely black screen. This is happening with Virtual Box 3.0.10 running on a Ubuntu 9.04 machine with an nVidia card and the native nvida drivers version 185.18.36. If you need moer information, just ask. |
