#672 duplicate INT 16H Fabio
Description

I have virtual box on linux ubuntu host and I have Windows XP like guest.

I'm a assembler programmer and when I use the instruction INT 16H for output on screen of character the virtual machines don't answer to the commandos and the PC become very very slow.

INT 16H is a bios subroutine and if it's doesn't work it wants to say that there is a bug in the bios.

Thanks for the attention

I attach to this ticket the assembler program.

Fabio.

ps: I'm a italian stundent and my english isn't perfect.

#673 invalid Wrong spelling of \vboxsvr on help strings sylvaticus
Description

On same help strings of virtualbox "\vboxsvr" is mispelled in "\vboxsrv", confusing users that want mount guest folders from Windows.

The same in the help-text under the relevant sector of proprieties.

#674 invalid Slow Performance on NTFS Partitions if Using Linux Host Kim Nguyen
Description

When Running VirtualBox on a Linux Host with NTFS 3G installed, in my case Ubuntu 7.04, with the VDI file located on a NTFS partition there is a dramatic decrease in performance.

Example: Running Windows updates it takes 60 minutes using a VDI file located on an NTFS partition. Those Same Updates using the same VDI file located on an EXT3 Partition takes 15 minutes.

In Previous Versions, there was no performance degration when running VirtualBox on a Linux Host with the VDI file located on an NTFS partition.
