#19550 duplicate VirtualBox 6.1.7 r137622 (QT5.6.2) not working with Hyper-V fdavidg
Description

I am trying to run VirtualBox 6.1.7 r137622 (Qt5.6.2) on an Intel Xeon X5570 2.93GHz 2 processor CPU with 48 GB Ram in an HP Z800 system with 64-bit Windows 10 Pro Build 10.0.18363.778, Version 1909.

I get an Invalid settings Detected with the following error message "Hardware virtualization is enabled in the Acceleration of the System although it is not supported.... etc."

I am unable to select 64-bit OSs as none are present. I can not Enable Nested VT-x/AMD-V.

There is no obvious way to attach logfiles to this ticket

I can run any VM I want (64-bit or 32-bit) with Windows Hyper-V, so BIOS is set up properly. I can run all Vagrant and Docker commands with Hyper-V, but not with VirtualBox.

Please note I also can not select the correct version of VirtualBox in the dropdown box below.

#19546 invalid Does not locate installed kernel-header/kernel-devel on Centos81. JimWh
Description

Fresh build of Centos8, immediately updated (to 8.1 it seems), then installed VB. Started the app, created a VM but it won't load the VM giving the not setup to build kernel module error. I ran /sbin/vboxconfig but the error persistd. As I do not operate with secure boot and DO have the latest version of kernel-headers and kernel-devel not sure what the error can be. I did notice from the script output that VB has a different package name for kernel-devel

it recommends: kernel-devel kernel-devel-4.18.0-147.el8.x86_64 installed: kernel-devel-4.18.0-147.8.1.el8_1.x86_64
