| #784 | fixed | Keyboard focus lost when minimizing and restoring virtualbox window => Fixed in SVN | ||
| Description |
Both the host and guest are Windows XP, I have not tried any other O/S. Steps to re-create:
Things to note: The problem seems to be that when the window is restored, the keyboard focus is on the virtualbox window rather than the guest. This can be confirmed by pressing ALT which activates the keyboard shortcuts for the virtualbox menu. To regain focus you have to press ALT twice or click somewhere on the host O/S and then click back into the guest O/S. I believe this to be a defect as using the minimize icon or minimizing by right clicking virtualbox in the taskbar, does not cause the problem. |

| #5372 | obsolete | Maximize causes incorrect guest resolution at startup | ||
| Description |
Problem: When the guest window is maximized, at next reboot, the window is maximized but the guest O/S within is not, leaving a large border around the guest O/S. You then have to restore ( un-maximize ) the window, and maximize again to get the guest O/S to set itself to the correct resolution. When you have a normal ( un-maximized ) window set roughly the same size, the problem does not occur, the guest O/S resolution is restored at next reboot. How to re-create:
Additional: Host maximized resolution is 1650x1050 Host is Windows XP but may also affect other host O/S. Guest O/S are Windows XP and Ubuntu, probably affects other guest O/S. Screenshots of the problem are attached. |
