| Description |
VB 3.0.6 w/ up-to-date Guest Additions installed within the guest XP system. The Windows taskbar stops responding to left/right mouse clicks when the full-screen mode is activated. When switched back to the windowed mode, after the desktop area resizes automatically, the taskbar is responsive again. |

| #5001 | obsolete | Start button in Windows 7 does not work in full screen mode | ||
| Description |
I have Windows 7 RC build 7100 installed in a guest system (32bit). The host is openSUSE 11.1 x86_64. VirtualBox 3.0.6. The system is a 3GiB Acer laptop with a dual core AMD processor. The screen is 1280x800 pixels 24 bit. I have an application, Panasonic HDWriter, which claims to need a screen of at least 1024x786, but it only works in full screen mode. However all icons in the taskbar of Windows 7, when clicked on do not work. Hovering on them shows some text. For the Start button this is Start, however clicking on the start button does not give the Start Menu. I have to disable Full Sreen <Right Ctrl>+F to make this button active. After that I get a complaint from the application that the screen is not 1024x786. The same is true for the other icons in the Taskbar. |

| #5006 | obsolete | Cannot reopen virtualbox gui after running/closing virtualbox | ||
| Description |
Host: Windows XP Home edition If I close the virtualbox GUI after using a virtual machine then I am unable to open the GUI again. In task manager Virtualbox.exe and VboxSVC.exe are still running, but force ending the processes does nothing to solve the problem. The only way I can get it working again is by logging off & on / restarting, at which point windows tells me that Virtualbox.exe is not responding & do I want to end it now. What's really odd is that this message appears even if I kill the virtualbox.exe process before hitting the logoff button. I've attached some log log files from the virtual machine that I use before closing the GUI. |
