#9742 obsolete v4.1.4 Mouse capture a bit weird returning to host OS hugowilkinson
Description

Host: win7 x64 Guest: sol 10u9 x64

This is a pretty old guest Ive been running through Virtualbox vOLD up to now :) Upon v4.1.4 (plus new Extension Pack, although USB is disabled), when I click into and then out of this guest, the host Win7 OS behaves as though I have left-clicked and dragged:

FROM: "behind" the position at which ive clicked inside the guest-os window.

TO: the position at which ive clicked back in the host os.

This is not happening with a WinXP x86 guest I have running simultaneously.

System setup:

  • AMD 1090T (6core)
  • 12gb ram
  • 3 screens (2 (left and middle) direct from nvidia 480GTX running Beta 185.3 drivers, 1 (right), from a HP docking station) -- NOTE: the Sol10 guest is on the LEFT screen, the WinXP guest is on the right screen)
  • otherwise pretty standard stuff

Thanks

#5118 fixed v3.0.6 vboxdrv kernel module segfaults Peter Waller
Description

If I try to start any of my virtual machines (windows, or linux) from my 2.6.31 host, the vboxdrv kernel module segfaults. The GUI reports an non-descriptive "NS_ERROR_FAILURE", and the following is found in dmesg. No vbox.log is created.

I am running on AMD64, Gentoo. I am running the non-OSE version.

#4585 fixed v3 regression: startvm does not work Ramon Casha
Description

When I try to start VirtualBox with the -startvm parameter giving a UID it fails, giving the following error message:

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine . Could not find a registered machine with UUID {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}.

The command to start the vm supplied the correct UID and was working before the upgrade to v3.

No VBox.log was created. The host is Ubuntu 9.04. The VM starts correctly if launched from the main application. It also works if I supply the VM machine name instead of the UID to the startvm parameter.
