Description

Test procedure:

  1. Host (Linux 2.6.23.9) is connected to LAN through eth0
  2. eth0 is bridged with vbox0 (TAP)
  3. I boot the VM and choose to boot from LAN

Observations:

  1. On the host

Description

i have astaro gateway 7 and a debian minimal install guests in vbox astaro is acting as the gateway to the debian guest running iperf on the debian guest to send data to another machine on the network (not vbox guest) astro gets a kernel panic and i have to restart, while the debian guest is totally ok attached is a screenshot of the panic

Description

I'm not sure if this is the place to post this but it seems like it.

I am running Ubuntu 7.10 as host and WinXP in the guest. I ran a Windows update and VirtualBox moved to the GURU_MEDIATION state. It was downloading IE 7 at the time. Just down loading, not installing. It was file number 86 out of 87!
