| #4723 | obsolete | mouse disappears on Linux VM under 3.0.x | ||
| Description |
I'm running an Arch Linux VM running on VB version 3.0.4 running under an Arch Linux host. The VM boots up just fine and is fully functional, except that the mouse in the VM simply stops working after a while. It seems to be stuck and invisible trapped in the lower right of the screen. If I click w/ the left button nothing seems to happen; if I click w/ the right button, the right-click submenu pops up and all I can do it select one of the options from it (new file, new folder, etc.) The only way I can get the mouse back is to restart the VM. Sending a ctrl+alt+backspace locks up the VM. I have a USB mouse if that matters. |

| #4746 | obsolete | Guests display do not auto-resize to window size at startup | ||
| Description |
I'm using Windows Vista as host and Arch Linux as guest. The guest additions are installed and working, the auto-resize guest display is working just fine if I resize the window. However, when I launch GNOME or GDM it starts at a low resolution, I need to resize the window at least once to change the resolution. This also happens to XP, when I boot my XP VM, the logon screen waiting for my password is at 640x480 and it should be filled to the size of the window. If I click "restore" and then "maximize" (the middle button between "minimize" and "close"), the guest resolution will change and fit the whole window. Shouldn't this be happening automatically at startup/boot without having to resize the window back and forth? |
